FAVOURITE DAY IN PAI
We took the fast (and most expensive) option from Chiang Mai and got a 12 seat Islander plane to Pai, a fabulous experience with amazing views over the mountains, albeit a bit bumpy on the way back. We stayed at Pai Village Boutique Resort & Farm in a rather cute little bamboo hut. As guests of the hotel we didn’t have to pay entry to the farm, where we spent a lovely morning exploring.
It was so peaceful and a welcome break after the hustle and bustle of Bangkok. We tried their delicious homemade mulberry ice cream and mulberry juice soaking up the view overlooking the pond, where we later fed the very energetic koi carp!
There is plenty to see including a large collection of tropical plants as well as animals to pet and feed. By far my favourite moments from the visit however was the time spent cuddling and stroking the baby bunnies. I’m a bit obsessed with soft and furry animals; one of those people who will stop in the street to stroke a cat, or having to touch anything soft whilst browsing in a shop.
