LET'S GET SPIRITUAL
The highlight of my time in Krabi, Thailand. A sacred Buddhist site, the cave was discovered by a monk who used it to meditate. Whilst he was there, tigers were discovered roaming freely throughout and the name has stuck ever since. Located a few miles North East of the town, I opted for the rather pricey option of a private taxi organised by my hotel, to get there and back. As I wasn’t staying in the area for very long I wanted to make the most of my time and I felt it was well worth the extra expense.
I climbed the 1,237 often steep steps to the top, occasionally being accosted by monkeys!
A rest was required once I reached the summit to cool down in the shade away from the midday sun. I was blown away by the views, one of the most spectacular places I have ever visited.
It felt like another world up there and really made me stop and contemplate life, which is quite the treat if you’re used to living and working in busy London.
